Dont instantly think its the server,
most of the times its not, its you!

More accuratly your route.

Also think of poor ol' Sirex, 300-500 ping and still killing you all!

here is proof that even with lag you can still play!
Sample of a router on my way to CL server I've been monitoring.
This is a french router my ISP own, and it causes me no end of trouble.
Even at that I can still (with my huge ping)
run a cap,
Jump the box,
knife 2 guys,
shoot the run aways,
and cap it!

I think Apache was in shock when he seen me do that over and over lastnight

Now you see why i find it funny when ppl with 70ish ping go

70ping is a dream compared to mine atm, i was pinging at 840 today and still killing

Sirex is correct. Unless everyone on the server is lagging it is you not the server.
Sirex was a machine last night.
And you should have seen his brother Kriotek play DOD with a high ping. We used to laugh because occasionally his high ping would cause him to suicide when priming nades. Then he would put the next one right at your feet.

in the other server before we moved to this new one my ping was always 400-500 and i still killed alot of people so lag really isnt that bad ... people say why dont you play in aussie servers with only like 10 ping .. because sure i rack up more kills but there is no one to talk to have a laugh and help out ..

Lag.. used to be my middle name. I remember seeing a guy running for a door on the Pipeline map in Cod. I swear, he was 20 yards away from that thing and I saw where he was headed. I started firing at the door before he got there. By the time he got there the bullets made it. Killshot.

So I dont complain much about lag here. Server ping is one thing, but this server we're on now just seems to register hitboxes better and everything else. Even when I was in Thailand, this server worked better than the others. And I had about what Rossy has now.
