The 2nd Release of BFP2 is now available as a public beta for the next couple weeks as a sneak peek for our loyal fans who regularly visit this website. Come fight with the devs on our very own testing server!

Within a couple of weeks, EA has offered to help us unleash BFP2 Yarr2 onto the masses at large. We hope to make that release as solid as possible - and whereas our devs and testing team have done a fanstastic job getting out as many wrinkles as possible, here's your chance to pitch in and help us find any remaining issues.

Note that should you decide to download the public beta now, we will be offering a small cummulative patch (should anything change) so you wont need to redownload another 800mb file in January."

From what I have seen so far, they have destroyed the gameplay by "tweaking" the weapons.

Noooooooooooooo.......... I was looking forward to this game..

The weapons take "forever" to reload. You can fire one shot and then go to cutlass mode in most cases. Where in the 1.x release I was ok with this, they took this to the next level for the new release. Can't describe it: The game balance seem to be broken.

The maps on the other hand are great. Vehicles are great as well.

As far as I know EA is still working on it. No release date confirmed yet.

I had a ball playing the first version of this. Aaargh.

to be honest with yall, i didnt notice much difference between version one and version two of this game besides the vehicles. to me the reload time seemed about the same, and with thee french pistols it doesnt matter anyway. I think this game would be a ball if we could get enough CLR's on one of the naval armada maps.
