Yesterday, we had a Major General, and a Lieutenant General on the server. Their hours played exceeded 2,000 hours EACH in Vanilla. They were clan-mates, and needless to say their teamwork kicked our butts--mutually supporting engineers, and one of them was commander dropping supplies on them the whole time.

2,000 hours is a lot. If you take the sum total of all FPS games I've played online, I don't have 2,000 total hours--BF1942/2/SF/2142, America's Army, UT2k4ONS, UT3, COD4, DoD, various demos. My grand total of that list isn't 2,000. The only game I can think of that may exceed that level is the MUD I've played since 1999.

Does anyone here come close to that level for one game? It made me curious.

I think 2142 may have been my longest, at 875 hours. It's possible my time playing CS/CS:S might eclipse that, if I combined them. > 2,000 is pretty insane for just one game, but I guess I can kinda understand it if they are doing competitive clan matches and the like. Bf2 has been out for nearly 3 years, so 2000 if you only played 1 game frequently isn't THAT unusual.

My old BF2 account has been sitting at Gunnery Sergeant for quite a while now. I'm thinking I might just start a new account though, we'll see.
