Last patch for BF2 was 1.41. 1.40 was before. Download and install 1.41 patch.

It has been so long for me that I can't remember. There used to be a way you could manually enter an I.P. address but I can't remember how. I'm just wondering if anyone running Vista has got the game up and running. If anyone has vista and has sucessfully installed BF2 and patched up to playable please post.

No you dont Moe...you can enter the server via the game under multiplayer tab..there is a option to manually enter the IP

I just installed bf2 and it works fine on vista.
got kicked by pb for inadequate o/s privileges, manually updated pb and didnt get kicked.

I went to wally world today and they have a very small selection. They DO have every single game that came out with the name "Tycoon" in it though. Not a shred of evidence of BF2. They even had Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (of all crap), but no BF2

I still have BF2 on my old computer but it won't run the game anymore since some of the last patches over a year ago. CRAP. I could still login on that PC but couldn't play worth a crap.
