    CTDs in SF.

    Well I patched to the 1.41 and I am able to log on but after a minute or two the game just closes down and leave me at my desktop? I'm running Vista any ideas

          1) Make certain you do not skip the intro videos. If you moved them, put them back. Skipping the intro videos makes me crash to desktop every time.

          2) do you have the latest video drivers for your video card???

            I upgraded my video driver and I was able to play for a few minutes without crashing.

              You can skip the intro videos but do not move or delete the files. In the BF2 or SF shortcut on your desktop go into properties then target and add "+restart" to the end of it. Saves alot of time loading and RAM

                If the problem persists you might need to right click ur shortcut and click "Run as Administrater" I know a few people with Vista who have had to do this to run BF2

                  I'm one of those. I tried several different options to finally get it going. If you have the error that says "Inadequate O/S priveledges" that will fix your problem.
