I installed BF2 tonight, and got myself set up with an account. I set the Lair to my faves and was ready to play, except no one was in there... I guess I have to come in when you guys are on, cept I'm an early morning person Maybe on the weekend I can see you guys I wanna see if I can play BF2 decently. I loved playing it on PS2, but it's wayyyyyyyyyy more complicated on PC! I was doofing around a bit, and I think I've got the very basics down. This may end up being fun

I'm going to scan some of these posts on here, I actually already looked at some of them, for noob tips for myself. Of course I welcome any comments in this thread, too, but mostly I just wanted to let you all know that I'm coming for ya

The empty server is handy at times.
Its good for practicing ranges of projectiles, how quick guided things move, tank aim, flying etc.

Plus doing all that, you make the server +1 player, which means while you are in there practicing/learning you also make the server populated, in turn it also causes people to join
