Disallowed Program/Driver (80251) Error Punkbuster

I put BF2 on my new laptop and all I get is this error after 2min of play. I've updated Graphics drivers, did virus scans, adaware scans, I have no gaming / messaging service running. And I've updated PB 3 times. I'm getting pretty pissed with PB right now.


Any Ideas.

I had the same issue when I was lazy and was using a NO CD/DVD exe make sure you arent using one

He is not and would not. It is some kinda driver conflict with PB from hat we can tell....

well all Im saying is I had the same error when I was too lazy to put cd in all the time...if hes not using one then fine we know it is something else...

It's something else, I don't use the No-cd. It's definetly something with a standard driver.

found a thread that deals with this, but since i dont think outside links are permited im going to paste some edited info i gleaned from it:

"That kick is from an unknown dll being injected into the game process by some outside application. If you have an open ticket, ask for Scantool, and they can find the cause right away."

Thanks Warhead. I'll try that. It works fine on my desktop, but I wanted it for my laptop when I go over to friends houses.
