you can run the old AND new versions by copying the old version
From my documents and renaming, and the game program itself to the
same name. Run the new version, and it will be your "Main" 2142 prog.
2 different icons on desktop, (With appropriate locations)
and you can click to go for
either one. That's how we do betas, and it works fine.

Or just make a copy of the original, and if don't like the mod version,
then copy it back in. Some people have jumped the gun before on
updates, especially when they were VERY buggy, and had to wait days
before we finally moved to it. Good idea to backup everything anyway.
