I saw what looked like attack heli's that hover, but no planes...

They said themselves that they are heli-jet hybrid things that are not used for massive "bombing" tactics, but have"miniguns" and probably 8 rockets. That means I will have to fly alot more to pick on small vehicles driving on the road.

yeah but if what i read is correct players can chose AA as a standard weapon... So no more useing anti-tanks to take out helis. I never understood why EA didnt add that... Its been one of the first things i remeber people requesting.
