Yeah, I've gotten to the point that half the time I just spend the entire round taking/defending silos. Last night I spent about half a round defending a single silo. People forget that the silos are still important after the titans' shields are down.
Also, I hate attacking the enemy titan now. Seems like its just:
a. pod over to titan
b. run inside titan
c. get killed
d. goto a

o c'mon! gunship has speed over the cobra, plus do some things that the cobra could possibly do.
and give the gunship some slack! unlike the gunship, the cobra was created NOT by game designers, but from real people who tested and improved it after YEARS of experimenting.

I'm 50/50. Titan is usually faster paced but it occasionally gets repetitive. It is more dependent on the quality of your team and the opponent's team.

Conquest is more map dependent, though. I LOVE some of the Conquest maps, but I also hate some of them. And some of them are great when the battle is goin your way, and horrible when the enemy rolls your uncap right at the start. Belgrade and Fall of Berlin both have this problem. But once you break out, they are a blast.

I'm about 80/20 Conquest/Titan in terms of enjoyment. I REALLY liked the Titan mode back when the Demo was released, but since all of the unlocks have come into play and people have learned all the exploits, I can hardly stand it anymore. I do have some good Titan games here and there, but then someone exploits the Titan (Core destroyed before shields down) and the fun level just plummets. Or the increadible amount of APM spam that usually goes on, or the constant grenade spamming.....etc.

IMO, with all the people generally camping the Titans, "Titan mode" becomes Conquest with giant floating bases. Which is why I just skip the camping part and go straight to Conquest mode most of the time.

And about the Gunship....yes, the missles are a little weaker, but they do heat-seek a little now (against air targets) and the Active Shielding is an upgrade from the flair system. If you flew a cobra in BF2142, the AA+EMP missles would have you eating dirt within seconds of takeoff. Now the TVGM was a lot better on it then the current version, but the number and the range of the current AA turrets makes almost any air power inert.
