There is some kind of problem

I was going to try and play some 2142 last night, and I get on the first server and start playing, but I forgot to change my keyboard settings, so I had to exit out and change them. When I tried getting back on I got the loading halfway and stalling out bug. I did exactly what I had done before to fix it and that didnt work. I tried several variation on that and it didnt work. I even unistalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing worked. It's not really a huge deal, I just wanted to play a little for old times sake, but it is really annoying. Any ideas?

if all else fails. delete your profile and make it anew.

I deleted EVERYTHING and did a complete reinstall and it still wont work. This time it didnt even install the radial.whatever file

AFAIK you will still need to manually delete the bf2142 folder in you user account.

the one inside your my documents,

it contains a lot of 'pre-cached' stuff that can get damaged somehow and i have no idea how.

Supposedly EA gave in to Congress and made that radial file with its own personal virus or something so that it goes bad after so many hours of play...

Not sure if its true or not.

that's funny. spyware is what messes up the file.
