The way the BF2 server I used to play on did it is this you can make a donation and get on the reserved list for one of the 6 slots or you could choose to make a straight donation or you could set up a subscription for a reserved slot.

Found this server yesterday (maybe the day before). Was kind of choked to see that it was being closed on 10/10 due to lack of donations. I've run servers for other games myself, and lack of assistance is always hard.

Anyways, glad to see that its here till at least November. I'll be throwing in a donation myself shortly.
