I remember

What killed COD4 for me was nade spam. Combine 3 primary nades, Martyrdom, and FF off and you have spam galore.

The first 30 secs of any round was everyone randomly chucking nades, spawn.. die, spawn.. die, ad nauseum.

But it wasn't nearly as bad on a hardcore server with friendly fire on. Regular TDM was always a mess.

the only thing that had even less spam + random nades than HC +FF was all of the modded S&D servers, where FF was on 200% shared (meaning you take 2x the dmg of the person u shoot)

Thanks for the reminder. I hadn't reinstalled COH since I built the new PC months ago. I never got past Carentan (the one with the Redball Express) the first time I played it, so I missed out on a lot of the game. So I re-installed COH and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it again, and I FINALLY beat Carentan last night. Looking forward to parts of the game I never saw the fist time.

To answer the question of the thread title, No WaW is better. To give my wish list, better physics(will kill the average gaming machine), friendly fire all the time, large maps(not just large, but actual level 0 terrain data maps) to include good sniper spots 900+ yards away on hills and mountains.
