    Cod4 was it truly better than WAW

    i just logged onto cod4 and was going to play a while when i was instantly reminded of what pissed me off about that game, nade spam + lmg's through walls = insta death. Great idea for COD6 Vietnam War or korea + gun selection like cod4 and large maps like cod waw(game play a little more like cod4 than waw)

    I fully agree with u Pumpkin. I would like large maps kind of like cod4s strike or crash with buildings but larger. Good sniper spots and guns like the m4 or g3.

      Friendly Fire always fixes nade spam. And in real life bullets go threw walls.

        To answer the question of the thread title, No WaW is better. To give my wish list, better physics(will kill the average gaming machine), friendly fire all the time, large maps(not just large, but actual level 0 terrain data maps) to include good sniper spots 900+ yards away on hills and mountains.

            That's why I used to love Delta Force 2. It used the Voxel Space 32 3D engine and the terrain was infinite. My best sniper shot in the game was 1900 meters with a Barrett.

              i think my main problem with cod4 wasnt the size of the maps but the maps themselves. most consisted of a left path, a middle and a right and it was just borin after awhile imo

                    This is true also in COD WAW but the maps are just more open with less walls and buildings with the exeptions of the 2 "town" settings, there are always a weak side and a strong side on a map only way to fix that is fixed"place" respawns like on capture the flag.

                          What killed COD4 for me was nade spam. Combine 3 primary nades, Martyrdom, and FF off and you have spam galore.

                          The first 30 secs of any round was everyone randomly chucking nades, spawn.. die, spawn.. die, ad nauseum.

                            I remember this, I remember hearing chat and reading text when we try to teamwork and someone will tell us to wait after the nades spam. Sure enough you hear nades exploding.
