Backing up Cod4 Multiplayer

Hey Guys and Gals

I hate losing all my ranks when I reformat my drive. I was told to back-up the "profiles" folder, but when I got into COD4, the only folders I see are:

Docs
Main
miles
pb
Zone

and even when i went into each folder there was no "profiles" anywhere. Anyone got the same problem of no profile folder?

This is the path supposing your game is installed on the C: Drive.

Make sure your "show hidden folders" option is turned on.

Vista or XP? The profiles are in different places depending on the answer.

No Luck I have Vista, and I even went into "search" and tried finding anything on my c: drive with profiles, nothing came up....weird ain't it?

I finally found it! I had to google the hell out of it to locate the answer. I needed to hit the "compatiblility" button at the top of my screen and boom the players folder appeared
