Its cool... most people on live hate the last stand perk and people call it cheap.

as far as how to use perks. Choose create custom class (or something like that). On the screen that says what kit to choose. Like assault, sniper etc are pre set up. There should be a list of like 5 things under the preset up. Those are your custom kits you can make. First you choose a weapons then you choose perks under the weapon select. First weapon in primary second weapon is pistol and under than should be your perk selection. You just choose from the list and unlock new perks as you get higher in rank.

Best thing to do is create different kits with different weapons and perks to best fit your style per map. That way when a map starts you can just pre select which custom kit you like for that map. Once the round starts you cant edit your custom kit thats why its best to have all 5 set up before you start. That way you dont have to rush between rounds.

Im guessing your choosing the pre set up classes. After you find custom kits you will never use them again. Mainly because you can change your custom class depending on what challenge your trying to complete or what unlock you would like to get. Not to mention you get xp for each challenge so you level up faster.

As far as the last stand perk, the guy has still got to shoot him, with my pistol skills, that's no gimme. The nades, bah, they don't have to do anything, just die and let the nades do the rest.

btw try jumping to avoid the grenade. Right before it blows. It helps.

btw a good tip for custom class is unlock different weapons with different scopes. That way each of your custom kit can have a good weapon with a good scope if you want it.
Of course you could stick to one group of weapons if you like and try unlocking each thing, but its more fun to get basic unlocks out the way that way you have more effeciant weapons to choose from. Most weapons have a 25 kill to unlock a red dot scope or something like that. Thats very handy for each weapon so it good to probably get the basic unlocks first then move to advanced that are like 100 headshots and stuff like that.

Once you start setting your kits by what weapons get you xp from challenges you will rank up fast.

Finally got the G3 the other night, and man, on the right map, that thing is a monster. I can see why Blackarrow likes it so much. G3 + Stopping power drops people FAST (usually 3 bullets or less).

I am an m60 fan as well. I love how I have enough amo to kill everyone on the map! Not to mention it's very powerful, and accurate in the prone. My next weapon to try is the P90. I just unlocked it, and is probably the weapon I get killed with the most. I can't wait to try it out!

Ooh...I haven't tried that combination yet. Sounds nasty.

I hated the G3 when I first unlocked it, but it quickly became my favorite assault rifle on open maps. The M14 was a bear to get used to as well, but also turned out to be a nice rifle with some practice.

I'm still playing with the perks.

Usually trying stuff that gives me the most fits.

Martyrdom is still used alot, but I'm running and gunning away
before that ever goes off. Unless someone is blocking the entrance.

Last stand is kinda lame too.
I HAVE had people kill me with pistols from a LONG ways away, to
see me on the kill cam, and their sights actually block out my body?
I have trouble shooting people with open iron sights on ASSAULT
guns that far, so why are they killing me with 5-6 shots from a pistol?

M60 is one of my fav's. Shoot through walls, and bodies. Just one nasty
piece of weapon with deep penetration.
Going to try double-tap on this beast.

Tried bandolier, but it didn't seem to give me more ammo?
Aren't you supposed to run over a weapon that uses the same ammo
as yours, and you get resupplied? Doesn't seem to work for me.
And I didn't get any more ammo for my weapons when equipped.

UAV block. OK, if you shoot unsilenced, then you show up on everyone's
map anyway?

Special grenades. Flash or stun? I've used both, but I've still gotten
killed with using Flash, and stun is stuch a pain in the ...

So many choices, so many ways to die...

Double tap on ammo rippers like M4 and P90, why? You already
chew through ammo like it's water.
