Not a fan of last stand - Suddenly your holding your pistol, and usually takes a moment to register why, by then it's too late. Plus people are getting much better at this game and are killing from greater distances, so the pistol again is worthless.

On some maps that are very crowded, or you must turn to get out of a
door. (Hopefully not blocked either). That is where Last stand Or marter
works well. People just can't get out of the area fast enough.
It DOES kill alot of newbie players, as they don't know to keep moving.

ME, I keep shooting the player until they die if they have last stand.
I always run/move behind wall/boxes after a kill, just to remove
marter from killing me. Again, I have other perks that are better than
those 2 to use if there are more veteran players on the server.

Since I have been working on Mid-long range weapons, i usually don't get
up close and personal anyway. (One map in particular is different)

M14 iron sights SUCK, so it is going to be awhile before I can be effective
with it, when Red dot or ACOG is available. The sights block out half the
sight picture for em. All a big blur. Still, each bullet is 33% more damage
than the G3's, so tradeoff.
