    COD-4 thru STEAM " KEY ERROR "

Hey gang just wanted to let you know that STEAM is working thru the issues and they hope for a resolve real soon.

I'm not looking to bash them over the " Key Server " issue but since we play alot of Steam games here I figured it worth posting whats going on.

Long story short... They ran out of keys

If you purchased COD4 from Steam over the past few days you were unable to connect to the key server making it impossible to play. Many people were affected including yours truly.

The most upsetting news was..... the lack of news over the weekend. Not one post by a STEAM member which made the crowd pretty ugly. This morning DougV posted some news ...

If you have purchased this game over the weekend and get the error "Failed to contact key server" and would like a refund of your purchase please PM mea request with your account name. If you would decide to wait for the fix, please accept either DoD:Source or CS: Source as a token of our thanks for your patience while we fix the problem (again, PM that request to me with your account name).

    Sorry again for the inconvenience,

I'm gonna stick it out and give'em a chance.

I have always had good luck with steam. When HL2 came out the was some kind of delay and they allowed my to dl the original HL and some other games to make up for it. I felt it was fair. Anyways I am glad you worked out your issues so I could shoot you last night. :P

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
