I just started playing a couple weeks ago and ran across your server in COD4. I progressed fairly far with heavy weapons, but have recently been experimenting with sniper weapons. I have really enjoyed playing on the Cainslair server.
I have had my best games (16-0) with the sniper weapon and the worst games (1-
but I always shoot to be in the top 5 in kills and bottom three in deaths. Also I try to shoot for a 2 to 1 ratio of kills/assists to deaths.
I hit that goal about 1 out of five games and come close a couple other times. I have been number one just a couple times with heavy weapons, but it isn't easy to have more kills than someone with an assault weapon.I realize many people try to boost their kills as much as they can, at the expense of dying a lot too, and with assualt weapons that can happen. Each person plays a different style, and I appreciate that. I don't mind. I just set my own goals and do my best.
I do notice that there are times I get owned (by a knife) about 5 times a game. I am often watching my map to see if there are people to my sides on my team that can protect me from that, and even then I wonder what happens, because I know there are people all around me but somehow enemies get through. I'd like to work into some strategies at some point with a few others. Feel free to invite me into a group.
Once again, I have really enjoyed the server and look forward to continued fun.
PS - I haven't done any research about the game yet, but at the risk of looking foolish, I am gonna ask, what is Asshatting?.

You play in a similar vain to me, on most maps I snipe and aim for a 2-1 or 3-1 KD ratio when sniper. When I go on assault I try for anything better than a 1-1 ratio
