Jerky Laggy Gameplay

I saw this post recently in another COD4 Forum, and many of the players said it helped them when their gameplay got choppy on Helicopter or Airstrikes..

Try it out and see if it helps you:

Turn your antivirus off while playing. When there are airstrikes and choppers happening the server is sending large amounts of info to your pc. I saw someone else had this problem with airstrikes and turning off his antivirus while playing fixed the problem for him.

Anything on ping related issues ?? TF2 I ping good COD I ping as if I was in a different country.

anti virus can draw a lot of ram. High ram systems probably wont be effected. But mid or low ram systems, would benefit from turning it off.
