    fx5500 PCI support?

    just to be absolutely sure, my friend wants to play cod 4, but he only has a PCI fx 5500 256 mb, and has NO expansion options. can it do it>?

    I would say no.... it's PCI not PCI-e, not even AGP. an AGp 6600 would be pushing it IMO.

          lol, ok, just making sure. i just recall the days of the radeon 9200SE , where if you reduced AGP speed from 8x to 4x, you could play...

              5500 = dead in the water. by no upgrade options, does the board not have an agp or pcie slot? even if thats the case, the only boards withoout such slorts don't have processors capable of running the game anywhere near decently anyway. upgrade time
