I actually got on for a few rounds this morning and I can see that I have a bit to learn about the online game aspects. In the meantime I did gain 2 ranks. w00t! I was kind of suprised at how fast paced it was. I will experiment with other game modes and see which I prefer. So far team deathmatch is decent.

BF2 -> Who's that guy I just knifed? Oh it's Cain! He's never on!

COD4 -> Gahhhhhh Cain keeps mowing me down over and over with that P90! He's always on!

I'm still in the air about this game. I don't really have any cool gear yet, though I did pick up Martyrdom, which helps a bit. I also don't know the maps well enough yet to toss a nade at a populated point I can't see, or get into some other way I've been killed, so at the moment it's largely spawn-die-spawn and maybe kill something. I'm getting close to 20 kills per every 2-3 rounds, but feel I should be exceeding that level pretty much every round.

My kill-death is climbing, and maybe it'll be a better game with better gear, but right now it's more chaos than strategy; I prefer a bit of strategy with my online shooters.
