COD4 K/D Ratio

Don't know what my ratio on this server is, but I imagine its quite low since I constantly get destroyed, but overall its about 1.0.

I'm a charger. I break open points for the team to exploit, rather than
worry about K/D. As such, my K/D is abysmal.

As an admin, I am NOT to worry about K/D anyway, as we are a moving
target for new players to the server. And kill choppers, and
generally try to cause havoc.

As long as I'm a service to the Team, I'm AOK with whatever. As I found
out in 2142, K/D doesn't really mean squat. COD4 caters more to lone
wolfs than 2142 did, unfortunately.

We DO have admins that have phenominal K/D's. I'm just too old to do
the fast twitch stuff on a reliable basis. Which means I'm someone else's
stats pad alot. As long as I have fun, and everyone else has fun, it is
ALL GOOD.

Mine was .50, now .72, but I've played so much that it would take a
miracle to get back to 1 or better. I dont let it worry me. '

Watching the chat, checking out players, .... I get distracted and die.
But that's why Cains Lair is super, because WE CARE.

I just realized my kills are above my deaths finally. Granted I have 3568 kills and 3514 deaths, more kills finally! :P Im with Dead and Gone, im more of a team player then going for points. In HQ ill try to flank and protect the HQ area and let others take it while im trying to slow away the other team as they rush in on it.

I don't know if I've EVER had a +1 K/D ratio in any MP game.

Like DeadAndGone I'm usually charging ahead.
Draw fire, Spray and Pray, let others clean up after me.

The only time I have a positive K/D is when I play sniper, and that's not really my thing.

Hmm, I don't know how to look up my stats but I don't think your scale goes high enough . I was always around 2/1 in BF2 but I suspect its more like 2.5-3/1 in COD. I tend to rush and be in the enemies rear area a lot and that really pads the K/D ratio when combined with the airstrikes and heli's.

Gonna have to change my K/D ratio as I just topped over 2.0 from 1.75

I've had tayeke play my account to try the P90 while I used his account to help him rank up since I'm pretty decent with the MP5. He's the kind of guy that nades are attracted to. Then I had my friend who hadn't played online try it.... he got about 1 kill every 50 deaths


And of course I charge in and always try to throw marytrydoms back at the enemy like an idiot...


But I do have more kills then deaths, about 500 more kills

so I said 1.0-1.25

Mine's about 2/3:1. If I'm sniping it's more like 5:1 but I don't find it nearly as much fun in COD4 as in UT for example so I'm usually down in it, leading the charge with my P90 and frags.
