Districts gone?

Yeah, I actually like all the maps except vacant. Some maps I don't like at certain times, because I'm bored of it, but I really did like District

I may complain about maps a lot, since I'm the kind of guy that likes just having one map and able to play it (I liked Suez and only Suez in BF2142)

But there are a lot of maps that are very similar, like strike and district had the same "tone" of play. And not to mention the way people play on certain maps is really annoying, much like vacant, which would be nade spamming

who doesn't complain lol, i sure do, a lot.... like i don't like many of the maps that aren't on the list, i hate countdown and shipment.... wait what don't i hate lol.

Gotta look at the bigger picture here. Like me i hate bloc, but i understand many other people love it. Id feel bad if any map was added or removed based solely on what i think. Obviously the map is fun thats why the server doesn't go empty when it comes on.
But if you dont like something, doesn't mean 49 other people aren't having fun or enjoying it. I love vacant. I know how vacant is gonna be played and i know what to expect. But if i was like you and did not like that map, i would just disconnect and go do something else until its over.

But If cain asked 100 people what 1 map they wanted removed. There wouldn't be any maps in rotation. if he asked 100 people what maps they wanted added. Every map would be in there. Simple because no one will agree 100%. But the server doesnt stay full because people are not having fun. No matter what map is on.

Way I see it, whats 1 map over uninterrupted game play?
Plus maps don't go forever, they return now and then to check how they are again and again.

But +1 on the stability factor here, whats more annoying, missing out on a map, or losing out on fun cos the server rebooted and its emptied out?

I certainly agree it's better to have stability, but isn't it a little quick to blame the map alone? Could some setting be turned up too high causing it to crash?

Cain will check out everything he possibly can before deciding on removing a popular map, just got to trust Cain on it.
Has been doing this a looonnnnggg time, and if something is suspect, i'm sure he is sure about it, i'd be the same.

DaNight, what I said ingame earlier was true when I said most people hate it. Compared to other maps, this one's badly hated. I spend most my time in that map spectating people, and they all die a lot.


There are 2 main problems with this map. 1) it's too small, so it's a nade spam, which everyone hates. 2) Body Blocking. It's a bunch of small hallways, and people love to bunch up together, making number 1 worse, because nade spammers use that knowledge to their advantage.


Believe me, most people at the end of that map are saying "jeez that map sucks", and there's 0-1 person defending the map. It just randomly happened that more people liked the map at that time, and... well... most the people I saw saying that were throwing nades like crazy.
