Does anyone know if Last Stand still works if you drop your pistol for another rifle?

Pistol? Take a Deagle, aim at the enemies kneecaps and pull the trigger as fast as you can. Ridiculously powerful weapon .

The recoil carries the weapon up and all your shots will hit that way.

Anyone who has unlocked a deagle prefer another pistol over it?

Only if going for stealth. The Deagle is just that much more powerful than the others....it drops people FAST. Right now every single one of my builds has the Deagle in it except for my stealth kit.

Yea all of mine have the Deagle. It drops people in a couple of shots so if you can hit them 3 times in the chest, they are a goner.

All of my settings have the overkill perk. It allows you to carry 2 main guns rather than a psitol. For example, I would rather use the P90 instead of a pistol when I am sniping.

Last stand will still work... you just pull a pistol out of your butt to use...

But it will always be the weakest 9mm pistol, instead of the .45 or Deagle you were probably carrying.

I just think wailing away with the deagle is a blast. The sound effects they gave you for it are awesome! I'd rather walk around with it than some of the weaker rifles. But then again I pretty much s**k at this game.

Whats up ladies. Hello everyone, Mike here and this is my first post. I play on Cainslair.com pretty regularly. As a matter of fact, it is now the only server I play on aside from my Clan's server, which is never full and isn't ranked. The other server I played on I was ranked #2 out of 15,000 players until I got tired of it not being allowed to be ranked. I think I'm number 4 now but who cares, right?

Anyway, to keep the thread pointed in the right direction:

If you frequently find yourself in a tight situation and out of ammo and the pistol is your last resort, you may want to consider what others have recommended and pick up another weapon as you make your way around the map. HOWEVER, it depends on what class of weapon your primary weapon is. If you are dragging around the M60, it makes more sense to pick up an UZI, Scorpion, MP5, P90, than it does to pick up a Barrett or another LMG.

Some use the Overkill perk to overcome any issues with finding a weapon, but I could think of better perks than this. If I am playing my ghost class (invisible and silent), I usually pick the enemy's weaker side of the map to head for, and placing a couple shots before I get there will ensure that I have a weapon lying around when I get there. Then I might have come across two silenced weapons by then, and I have dumped the Sniper rifle and I am stabbing the enemy in the back like dominoes. It is a truly good feeling to single handedly clear a room of 4-5 enemies without being recognized and then placing a few claymores to fortify your position with your stolen silenced weapons.

                              ON ANOTHER NOTE...

The only grumbles I have about the game itself:

1.) The SNIPER ghille suit is not used on all maps, and the fact that in real life a sniper can/does create his own ghille suit for every combat environment to bust up his sihlouette.

2.) The enemy chopper makes some ridiculously unrealistic shots. If you have ever played a LOT of times and have been the #1 player on your team, then you know that the chopper singles you out every time. Have you ever called in a chopper and the chopper didn't kill a single thing? THAT is because the number one person on the other team is somewhere taking cover while waiting for your chopper to go down so he can call his. Every now and then you get a chopper called in that will kill a few people, but only after it has struck the #1 player on the enemy team.

3.) Door blocking. The knife is a handy weapon, but this is not what you're thinking. The knife should do to enemies what it already does, but it could be easily implemented so that the same knife function could be applied to friendlies, except with a non-lethal force. For instance, you are running out of a room where a guy is crouched in the doorway sniping, a guy on the other side is trying to come IN and you are trying to go OUT to get at the guy who just PWNED you. If that crouched sniper's screen started shaking (like when an airstrike lands nearby) and he started breathing hard with a red flashing screen with the big words "BLOCKING" flashing on his screen, I think he'd get the picture.... then again some guys do this on purpose, I believe.

4.) The Knife. It sure is quick on the draw, but once you've pulled it out you can only use it once............................................th en again........etc.. It seems like 30 seconds you jump around waiting for your knife to reload while dodging bullets or another knifer trying to reload. We all know that it would be a lot quicker and uglier battle in real life and knives would be swung like fly-swatters, and I think this could use some work.

5.) Even though I use it religiously and not trying to beat a dead horse; again, the knife: We all know that if you get shot in the gut and chest area with a Barrett or even 8 shots from a 9mm pistol, there's a darn good chance you're going to die quickly, but someone running at you and jumping and flailing aimlessly about with a knife is HARDLY going to kill you dead as a door knob on the first impact of the blade to flesh. I LOVE it just like it is, but if you wanna make it as realistic as the rest of things should be, then this could be altered just a bit. (I hate to say that because killing with the knife is the most pleasurable thing about the game to me, but I'm being honest.) I played one round.. one time.. TRYING to use only my knife, and out of 142 kills, I counted at LEAST 44 kills with the knife. (and I sustained 47 deaths).

Anyway, that is all I have for the moment... I had more but I forgot the rest somewhere between yesterday at lunch and here it is 3:40 a.m. and have had little sleep.
On my way there right now!

                              Happy gaming

hey mike saw you playing earlier killed me quite a bit, welcome to cains lair man.

                                but yeah back on topic.

I've figuired that if you have a p90 class with d eagle it's much easier to do what many else say, pull out the deagle and whip some butt. If there are many people p90's you're gun but with a 1 or 2 people the d eagle is one step ahead
