Domination vs HQ/ What should we be playing?

There is a growing number of people that want something "Different",
and have been playing the HQ server.
(Especially with the TDM server being full ALOT. )

Several have expressed their opinion that Domination would be more
fun than HQ for the 2nd server.

Note: The second server is currently empty until late afternoon.
Not nearly as many people interested in HQ or Domination as they
are in TDM.

Domination. HQ is not as exciting or interesting as it could be.

It's a tough one, if we had high player count then Domination, but since the we don't get the player count the HQ at least draws everyone to 1 spot so you don't have to look for people to kill.

I haven't played Domination as much as HQ, but I like HQ better.

Can any of the admins/Cain comment on some settings we could tweak to change the gameplay a bit?

I don't care as long as Cain keeps both. I love the ability to play a run an gun deathmatch and then go play a few on HQ.

Domination is so popular it has us in the top 10 and full 24/7 = why would we want to change that

Part of it are the maps too. Downpour flat out sucks, and I don't like the one with the giant statue in the middle of the two story building. Wetwork is only so-so.

Yup, more so than TDM, HQ needs good maps. Wetworks and Dowpour, because they are long and narrow, make for generally poor HQ games. I can take or leave Showdown (the one with the big statue). And of course Countdown and Bog are both subpar HQ maps mainly due to airstrike rape.

Does the HQ server have Overgrown in the rotation?

I voted for domination since it gives more objectives to keep track of. The only downside I've ever experienced is if a team has two of the three point capped the other team can get pinned on one side of the map ( I think this depends on the map however).

What I would love to see is a server which alternates gametypes between HQ, Domination and Sabotage. Search and Destroy should always be on its own server as should TDM.

The preceeding is, of course, only my humble opinion.

I've played some CRAZY sabotage matches...fast paced and really fun.

Anyway...I'm just happy to be here! heh
