COD4 Modders Get Ready

According to popular belief, there is a possibility that the COD4 Mod Tools w/ Map editor will be available this week. I am not sure if this is true or not, but I will give more info when I get home from work.. in a few minutes.

I believe it was a hoax. I do wonder what this is all about:

There are some screenshots of what this does... It shows how many points you get when you shoot somebody in the chat area. Stuff like America's Army had in the modded servers.

As with any game for (probably) all time....no.

While each mod could probably have its own ranking, it won't correlate to the ranking system in COD4 because you can only use that with a pure server. Same with the Battlefield games, ET:QW, and just about anything else with globally-tracked ranks/stats. Notable exception being TF2, but that has no unlock/ranking structure, so it's not as big of a deal.

Lets hope at the bare minimum we get some better maps though.....something a little bit bigger than "made for 16 players"

Hmmm.. Might be ok for the 2nd or even a 3rd server then.
