Hmmmm, this thread has me thinking now ... I've taken the MP5 as far as I can and the M16 just doesn't have stopping power, so I may resort to using the tube on some tight maps. I end up stuck in nowhere land on those team map swaps, and trying to gun down 3+ enemies at a time with an MP5 is a total joke.

Now I'm looking forward to TDM tonight ! A what range does the warhead arm ?

I use it a lot, and I would guess at about 10-15 feet.

yeah, its pretty close to 10 feet. And as others have stated, the slug can still kill pre-armed if you land a direct shot, which some people can pull off with surprising regularity I'll still take the red dot or silencer over the noob tube any day. Stealth or accuracy always win in my book over having 2 Quick kill shots - I'm in it for the long haul.
As for killing 3+ enemies....that's when you go grab a P90 or an LMG. All Hail the RPD!

If you have the Double Tap Perk with the M16 you will get more kills.

It's not that you're hard to kill Aqua...it's that it's hard TO kill when your arms are over in that corner and your legs over in that corner and you're head somewhere inbetween after being hit by a 204 round

Personally, I never LOOK for someone. I have enough problems killing someone right in front of me. Going hunting for someone usually leaves my 6 open to bullet holes in my gluteus maximus.

I ALWAYS go for the top player on a server when I know where they are. I love the thrill of the hunt

I enjoy the challenge more than just getting a lot of kills. I actually have more fun when I'm only doing OK versus really good players than GREAT versus just OK players. In fact, when there aren't a whole lot of high-skill people on the server, I tend to get bored pretty fast

Please, plant claymores. Bomb Squad works fairly well when someone needs it, and even aside from that, it's absolutely hilarious to kill someone by shooting their own claymore.

I'm in Carbonfire's camp. I always go after the most skilled folks in any game I play. The problem with this one is that it's a lot harder to find them amongst the 25 other guys running around these smallish, hectic maps. It should be noted also that in a game like UT2k4/ONS, you can identify most of the top players by style, but you can't do that anywhere near as easily in this type of game.

Finally, several of the good players are running with extreme conditioning and tend to often run away before we have the fun of getting them back right away; making us wait another minute is not as much fun. :P

Oh I'm not so sure about that.

I'm pretty positive that it's you when you shoot me in the face as you fly by.

Back in the good ole days of 2142,
there would be entire SQUADS going after Major Massacre.
JUST HIM and his Nekomata!!!
Yeesh that was fun, on EITHER side.

If I get killed by a sniper in coordinates xxyy, I'm going to get him.
If I get killed 3-4 times before I can, so be it.
PLUS, there are only so many good sniping spots, so if you are on
a SNIPE hunt (Not the Snipe hunt from RL, lol), then you KNOW where
you can usually find them.

But, people like Aquataine don't stay in one place camping, so trying to
pin them down is a wash. Just run into him during play.

Trust me, you WILL run into them again during the round.

Same with Carbon, Needle, Voice... They have their fav routes, but
they DON'T camp for 99% of the rounds. Sure, they opt for sniper or
M16 to long range rape on occassion, but that is the exception rather
than the rule.

Now, If the other side is copying Aquatine, and noob tubes are on every
other player, I might sit that round out. Just isn't fun to me anymore
for most maps. You meet 1v1, bring up your weapon first, and think,
"YES, GOTCHA SUCKA", pull the trigger and a newb tube hits
you in the gut or explodes at your foot. 1 shot kill, end of story.
That BLOWS. But that is my opinion.

Everyone has their dislikes or hates about styles or perks or whatnot.
Heck, EVERYONE hates Voice and his shotty.
