I've been killed with the tube often, as I've started hozing them down,
and I hear a "Phomp" and I'm dead.. Don't take a gun to a
tube fight.. lol

What I DO like is that the shell detonates on contact, giving them no
warning and thus evasion. And of course the bouncing off walls and such
if it hasn't armed yet. As good or better than nades IMO.

You can COOK your nade, but it will sometimes explode in midair if you
didn't time it correctly.

Tubes have no such problem. Use the ladder to land it where you want it.
And the camper is TOAST. And it has a much flatter tragectory
than nades, so you don't waste it bouncing off a window sill.

I brought out the tube yesterday just for funzies, but it isn't my main
squeeze. You won't see me with the tube normally, as these old tired
eyes NEED scopes or red dot sights.

I love the tube, but only at point-blank range. I've finally gotten Ouch 3, so I don't know if I'll continue to use the tube or not. It is just funny as hell killing people up close with the tube, Thoomp, no explosion, just dead.

wanna see funny try using the tube on hardcore with out the sights That really makes it funny to use. You have to look at watch to see if the tube is equipped or not also. Thats the only way to tell since there is no crosshairs.

LOL, my first time playing COD4 was just a couple of days ago, and I was wondering who the heck this 'aquatain' tuber was because I was consistently on the receiving end.

hehe, well be thankful its the tube and not the p90 :P Though it seems I ve become more annoying with the tube then the p90 :P. I think drisel told me to swap back to the p90 during 1 game

Hmmm - I thought the Tube took away Perk 1 which is the 3+ nades. I will have to check that when I get home. Cause I'd be all about have the tube AND 3+ nades.

nube tube is the M203 Grenade launcher attachment for the assault riffles.

The "Tube" does take Perk 1 away.

Pro's:
You get 2 "Tube" rounds, 1 special grenade, 1 regular grenade
Long range, flat trajectory, accurate, foolproof.
Explodes on contact if armed. (Travels over a set distance)

Con's:
Takes away Perk 1 (Options for Claymore's, 3x Grenades or specials,etc)
Gives you those pathetic iron sites. No options for Dot, silencer, or scopes.
Slow reload on the tube, can get you killed if you miss on the first round.
Must travel a certain distance before the Tube round is armed.
For Me, it takes valuable time to change from tube to regular gun.
If you hit the edge of a window or doorway, it won't bounce or richochet
in like a grenade if it is armed. Just explodes harmlessly.

I was trying out the tube last night with the sonic boom perk and i have to say it is quite effective especally in the hallways on vacant

Hmmmm, this thread has me thinking now ... I've taken the MP5 as far as I can and the M16 just doesn't have stopping power, so I may resort to using the tube on some tight maps. I end up stuck in nowhere land on those team map swaps, and trying to gun down 3+ enemies at a time with an MP5 is a total joke.

Now I'm looking forward to TDM tonight ! A what range does the warhead arm ?

I use it a lot, and I would guess at about 10-15 feet.
