Head Shot Icon?

Somewhere, in a post, I saw a mention of a headshot icon.

Where do you see that, what does it look like

you know when someone gets a headshot on you, in the bottom left of your screen you get a thingy that says WHO killed you and usually with which weapon ... by an icon... p90, knife, etc... well if it is a headshot it looks like a red crosshair with a silhouette of a head in it.

This will be very helpful in completing this SAW challenge that I am trying to complete.

Observing when that pops up alongside what I was doing when I did it, will make it easier to breeze through.

Yeah. It often gets lost in the background noise, but it's a sweet sound.

I am trying for the SAW challenge too, and I think it only shows headshot if you kill them with just a headshot. Most of the time for me i get credit for one if i hit the body first and then the head.

I just completed it in two rounds after this information.

I had 12 or so to go and I got 7 on the first round and 8 on the next.

Never heard the sound, and you probably wont in the LMG

Headshots are good on any map, but certain maps allow you to do more with the LMG than others.

My top maps for Headshots with the SAW are:

Bog
Countdown
Cross fire
Overgrown (this is where you can rack them up)

The key is to tip tap the shots, not burp them.

Find a spot where there are people popping their head out all the time.
Pay attention to the distance ratio and the shots ration.
The longer the distance, the more shots it will take to put them down- even when you hit them with a solid headshot with this gun.

Finding that sweet spot + watching for the headshot meter was all I needed to go from 1-2 headshots a map to the 7-10 per map with the SAW.

Perk layouts are by preference, though I insist on the slight of hand with this gun in most cases.

I have now switched over the the MP5 and some of you were laughing at my sudden improvement. :P

Its not that I suck- its that lugging a giant weapon around means you can only run so fast.....

I heard the HS sound quite a lot (and still do, since I'm working on RPD) on the LMG. I use short bursts, and if the last bullet gets the HS, you'll hear it.
