I use V, although I guess it is technically button 4 on my Merc keyboard. Im still playing with that and pressing the mouse wheel for knife and then grenades respectively.

I use X and V. Most of the time I crouch instead of knifing someone though.

I use the T button. That way I can still be running and knife as I go by.

And my G5 mouse left thumb button doesn't work on COD4 for some reason. Otherwise I would be using that.

This set up is for people with 3 mouse button set ups.
Ideally you should have a 5 button and run most of these functions from the mouse- Knife is fast for a kyboard, but not as fast as if I had it set on my mouse.

My problem is that I keep forgetting to go down and pick up a mouse.

Here are some other points in my layout.......

                          My run key is F

I use my middle finger to run forward or backwards on W and S.

So my index finger is ready for the run(F) or the strafe right key (D)

Grenades are my middle mouse Button
                          Special Grenades are X
                          Crouch is C
                          Prone is Z
Space Bar is to rise from Crouch or Prone

P is my use or respawn

                          #4 is my call airsupport
#5 is my inventory key (claymores, RPG, etc)

I use the left side of the D-Pad on my N52 to knife. It works pretty well since i don't normally use my thumb for anything. (when I remember to use it, that is!)

Now we have had a lot of flooding in this area and there are still a lot of houses that have not been repaired. Must be the apocalypse.
