It's fine. Sometimes the textures and models don't quite line up. He was prone and with his feet on the slight incline that caused his body to be angled in to the floor.

I nailed a guy in Bloc this morning because I could see the tip of his rifle sticking through the wall I was approaching. If he could see through the wall he would have shot me for sure so I bet this guy was just prone, not hacking.
Yeah, when I was going for my LMG unlocks I would kill bunches of people because I noticed a pair of feet or something sticking out of the wall...
Now, if you really want to debate a hack, it should be on whether those guys who can find you and snipe you through a smoke screen, blind to where you are, are hacking.

That would suck, because I am not going to name names, but I have been hit by several people wearing our tag in situations you just named.
HOWEVER- if you dial down texture for smoke and reduce all the graphics settings to lowest, - some of the obstacles disappear.
For example- anyone sniping from under the bushes or behind the tree up the long alley are VERY clear in sight and the bushes are not even drawn. Sometimes the cars arent even there if you do that.
I figured this out after a crash forced a reboot- my next client session of COD4 put everything on minimum. I just wanted to get in the game and I didnt realize it was all dialed down until I was in game.
Lets jsut say its an ugly game in that form, but incredibly easy to see people hiding from you.
I have sniped people through smoke but it is usually because I have seen them as the smoke went up and tracked throw the smoke, remember what you see on killcam is not always what the killer saw
I sometimes fire into smoke where I think people are likely to be. Sometimes I get lucky.

I ve snioped people though walls in the head b/c I got lucky when I followed their motions and just fired and got lucky! Happens on that one map with two long buildings all the time. Now I get alot of my shots that way now. I also sometime fire at a wall just to see if someone is on the other side. Just like Apache said. Shoot in places where people are usuallu at amd get lucky.

You're darn right... happens all the time on "Citystreets". I've watched the killcam and seen this happen at least 3-4 times myself.
I don't understand all the sniper kills when the kill cam shows the cross hair at least a 1/4 inch over your head. Must be some flaw where the kill cam is at a slightly different perspective.
I've been Alpha and will be Beta testing the Delta Force game. It's been really getting good reviews! Definitely a good Battlefield feel to it like the...
