Tossing smoke!!!

I often get moaned at for lobbing smoke everywhere I go, particularly the centre street on crossfire (is it crossfire?), and the bit of the street around crash. I also tend to lob smoke at the enemy held buildings in bloc.

Lemme say to those folks (should any take a look here) that's needed. Especially on crossfire. It stops all the damn snipers and lets those of us with sub machine guns or shotguns get close enough to wipe out a good solid number of baddies before dying. So see the smoke as your chance to reload, get up and relocate to a new spot before it clears.

The other thing is throwing smoke is just so much fun.

waited for the enemy to walk past me and then boom followed by three

more before they figure it out.

LoL ... I LOVE smokers ... I toss them before I toss any others on Bloc, which I hate with a passion.
You'll sometimes get three of four others to do likewise, and then the smoke Nazis come out, whining about not getting their headshots due to the smoke.



C'mon, people, its a game. We all play it differently, so if someone likes smokers, deal with it and continue sniping. Be glad I only spawn near you every so often instead of all the time, you'll at least get some sniping time in eventually.

Well, smoke certainly helps you close the gap. But I've found stuns help a lot more when you're actually going in for the kill. On some maps though like Overgrown, Bloc, Strike and Crossfire, smoke can be a godsend.

Yeah stuns are good an all but I kill alot of people while stunned. Vut this is a very useful techinique.

'Tis my problem, as well. Nothing quite like tossing a stun in a room, stunning 3 guys, and mowing them down with little to no resistance at all.

Though I do have to admit that I follow people around who have smoke grenades. Hey, if I can't carry any, I'm gonna pair up with someone who does.

Strike, some of crash, and BLOC, you betcha I toss smoke.
Snipers will ruin your day otherwise. Those that pop up and down
like box toys are hard to kill, so I don't give them a chance.

Nothing like seeing your opportunity, stepping a toe out in the open,
only to be watching the kill cam recording.

So I'm a Smokin, and a Runnin. Rush Rush Rush.

Normally I have a pretty good K/D on those maps because of those
tactics. I'm not one to camp a spot normally.

Other maps? You betcha I use Stun. Throw stun, throw nade, and they
can't get out of the way. Or Stun into a packed group, and
"CRY HAVOC"..

Stuns are invaluable on Bloc for getting into the sides of the enemy apartments. Toss in a stun, and then follow immed after the "KA-BOOM". Even the guy in the 2nd floor hole will be stunned making for easy pickings.

I dont mind it so much, although when Sniping I try to cover the advance of my team mates....

There are so many areas on the map where stun + stealth = lots of free kills. Take the back corner spawns in Bloc, lob a smoke back there then sprint to the wall and hit prone, then just pick off people running by until your ammo runs out.

I HAVE had people running behind me that use stun nades.

But... I hate it when it lands just in front of me, and I am thus the
immobile bullet magnet. lolol

I don't mind smoke, but when I want to snipe, it does piss me off from time to time. Don't want to sound like a bragger, but from my experiences my sniper spots don't need smoke cover, I can hide and survive without it.

Although, on crossfire I love it. I can run like an idiot in the middle of the battlefield and survive.

i use smoke on crossfie and bloc the most that with UAV jammer and silencer helps you get behind the enemy quick
