Personally, don't care for COD4

TO be honest, I actually prefer BF over COD 4.

For one...COD 4 is way to chaotic...die all the time, might be the fact its too many people on the server for the small close quarter maps we play on, but in fact, lately, so far..it's very annoying to play

It's a spam fest of grenades as well.

Not very impressed with the multiplayer at all, I mean I'll continue to play to see how used to it I get, but dying frequently, people getting in the way, obstructions is way too much.

Oh Tony, Sorry too hear that but if you hang in there you will get used too it. After awhile everything becomes second nature and before you know it you will start too like it. So hang in there man.

Aww. there are ways to get around stuff like that.

I'm fairly good at running full speed past everyone and getting into the other teams base, which nets me tons of kills. I can usually get an airstrike/heli from that.

Also, find a really good sniping spot and you can go crazy. I played last night and got 31 and 7. One less death and I'd have gotten that 5:1 K;D ratio challenge :*(

There are ways to get away from the chaotic. You check your UAV, your corners for UAV jammer people, and learn the hiding spots most people use, and you can destroy people.

Take some time and pay attention to detail and you'll get real good.

But if you truly don't want to play anymore, that makes me sad Never met you, but I love having more people to play against on the server

People will never stop throwing grenades or blocking doors.

As for dying, well I'm going to TRY to get all golden weapons (Assaults gonna be a b*tch), so I use all weapons, and the only really one I'm good with is MP5 or P90, so I die A LOT.

It's easy to get use to, just don't stay still and try to sneak around.

It's a lot of fun, but the nades get very annoying.

I did not like BF2 when I first started playing. After playing a little I came to love the game. Never base your likes on a game without playing it for a while. Also, try the HQ server first. It is less chaotic.

I think I am figuring out the map with the Tank in the middle though (the one that's on the Demo game). It's just that everything is happening so fast.

As far as the hiding spots....you mean this game is not one of those games where everyone figures out the hiding spots...and finds out where you are? (Typical of most shooters?).

They do not have to figure out where you are. There is a kill cam that shows them exactly where you are.

Yeah, but in my experience, when the server is full, people don't usually come straight for you if you've got a hiding spot.

I've got hiding spots where i'll kill 10 guys before one of them comes after me.

I felt the same as you Tony when I first started. This is my first online FPS and I thought it was crazy. Especially when I did a 24/7 Shipment server, I was the WTF how can people do this. Now I understand those are there to lvl and complete gun challenges and that is all. Just keep playing to find your grove and watch others play to pick up tips. It's good to have you around and hope to see you around for a while.

I still feel the same way you do Tony even after being 55 for a while now. I don't play on the main COD4 Team deathmatch server. I hate it... but the HQ server is great. Bad part is, its almost never occupied...so I find myself on other servers

When i first started playing cod4 i thought the same thing... it's like bf2 but not as good. then i started playing hq. With around 12-16 people on the hq server its awesome. theres alot more thinking involved and alot less spam. i dont even touch the tdm server anymore. i honestly think the game wasnt made to support that many people on these small maps.
