Golden AK-47

I finished the scorpion yesterday, and I'm working on R700 and the auto-shotty next. I have about 114 auto-shotty headshots to go, and about 70 R700. I'll have the pump shotgun, 2 SMGs, and the .50 left after that. I have all the regular challenges in the can.

P.S. I popped Juneau with a completely random think fast stunner the other day, Friday or Saturday, from about 20 feet away. It was hilarious because it was so unexpected: I just wanted to blind and slow him down. Too bad I already had the challenge, since that would have been a great one to get it on.

I'm down to 9 hs needed on the AK47u and around 130 on the uzi and that's all the guns done. The only other challenges I have left are the ones in operations for the game-types I don't play. I may or may not go for them just to have done everything but I really really don't like TDM or S&D so I doubt I'll bother.

P.S. It's only 100 head shots for the shotguns rand so you're 50 closer to gold than you think! I found the shotgun gold easy to get. It only took me 2 days once I went for it. I used jug to get me close then Steady aim + grip and just aimed high and blasted away. Stroll in the park compared to the 1050 headies needed for the gold AK47.

I hate the scorpion, to the point where I'm going Scorpion-only to get headshots as fast as possible so I can finish the thing up. I'll probably mix in a bit of shotty and sniper action next.

+1 to hating the Scorpion.

The iron sights are...(are there any) ..lacking and it is utterly ridiculous to use unless you have the aimpoint sight. The gun is great other than that and has a decent fire rate / damage. I just couldn't get over the crappy ironsights though. Pitiful.

I am not even considering trying to get the challenges for the gold weapons. I personally don't care about them.
