Temp bans

This is a very strange request, and it's going to make me look like an addict.

Well, this game pisses me off so much, but yet its so damn addicting. I have a lot of work I need to do in the next 2-3 weeks, and I need no distractions. I have limited myself to like 15 minutes or 1-2 rounds a day, but that still can be a distraction, and it frustrates me. If anytime I don't need to be frustrated, it's now.

So, I was just wondering if it's possible I can get a temporarily ban from the server for like 2 weeks? I know this probably isn't the best way to do this, but I want to make sure I have no distractions.

I'm getting a new job, moving around my Birthday (March 27th), and have some goals I want to get accomplished within these 2-3 weeks.

Also while I'm at it, I just want to take this time to apologize to everyone. I've been an asshat lately, and feel I've kind of taken it out on all of you. I look for CoD4 for my free time, and for some reason I get into a trance where it *HAS* to be perfect my way, and of course it's not my way. After this I hope to move to HQ, it doesn't have so many body blockers or nade spammers, which really are my main... pisser...offer...thingys. Anyways, just know I'm sorry, and I know I b*tch too much :P

I feel your pain, man. Every time I sit down at the desk and the pointer tries to click on Word or Excel somehow, don't ask me how, it leaps right over to the multi-player icon. Obviously it's Bill Gates' fault.

I disagree, I see more people ask for bans instead of trying to appeal one.


However, they don't really ask for one like I am, they just choose to be an asshat and not listen to our admins demands.

I doubt this is going to happen. A ban is a ban. Only kicks are time limited. And then to remove your ban Cain will have to take the server down.

Just do like the rest of us and back away from the computer.

I would just uninstall COD4 and give DVD to your wife or a friend......

Banning and unbannig require some administrative work around it, plus keeping track and so on.

I would highly suggest simply uninstalling the game and giving your install disks to someone for 2 weeks.

Besides, banning your will not stop you from playing the game, only playing on Cain's servers. There are many other servers you could get your fix on.

If you are having withdrawal symptons and cannot live without, in all honesty, I don't think a ban will fix your problem. Even when your stressful period is over, I don't think its normal to be in a situation like this with a video game. It may be time to simply step away from video games for many months to get your things in order

This is kind of an illogical, non thought out request. Take a step back and think about things. We all go through hectic times in our life, but we need to keep a cool head.

Deadly! put the game on the back burner or play HQ which is not aggersive as TDM. Or take a vaction from it and play you favorite games that you like. You are not the only one that gets killed by nade spam I get it alot and other stuff that of the scale You are a clean and great player! So please do not stop playing and do not let it get too you man! STAY AND PLAY and forget the rest its just a game, Geddy said it best, Games = fun!
