I'm having problems "signing up"

I'm so disappointed in the whole UT3 situation. I got a job at a game company, and figured that i'd play multiplayer at night at home and design at work during the day. (As opposed to designing in my spare time...with no time to play)

Anyway.....
-I bought, installled, and patched COD4.
-I Favorited Cain's server.
-I went to the COD Tracking site, and created an account.
-I tried to "join the Clan" using the supplied name and password:
(can't find the page at the moment) I think it was Cain's Lair Regular and clrftw2007

I got an error saying that my username couldn't be found and the password was invalid.

FYI....I haven't played a game yet...just spectated, if that has any bearing on this process.

I'm looking forward to becoming a sniper.

Any help is appreciated!

Will check what is up with the password. They had some type of server problem about a month ago and lost about half of the clan data. It looks like our password got borked.

I'm having such a confusing time trying to get the "tag" right.
And now it's probably too late.

I figured I had to play a round in-game to end up in the database, So i did. But the game wouldn't let me enter a clan tag. So I played as SPECTRE.

I went back to the COD4 Tracker, and filled out the tracker info. It then accepted SPECTRE. How the hell do I get the clan tag in there?

I hate whining....but this has been a confusing process for me.

I figured it out.

I got confused between player profile and the multi-player name area.

It allowed me to update myself in the tracker too.
