Some weapon advice please

You could simply jump into the =HQ= Server and shoot ME in the face !!

Its really pretty easy, I'm really slow.

Not with a knife you arent.... I swear half of your kills are actually knifers.

Anyways, the best thing I can think of is to go on HQ when there are a few people on and try for headshots there... you can actually take your time with aiming rather than being forced to ignore your goal and kill the three people rushing at you as fast as you can.

Only if you're really hardcore about trying to aim for the head in all situations. I've been going for them only when I can bring up my sights, and I'm more concerned with hosing the guy down with bullets, period, at all other times. Doesn't affect K negatively this way, but far more importantly, it keeps you alive more often, and for longer.

Yeah, I just meant that since it's easy to get headshots from far away as well as up close, you don't *need* to do the rush for them. I admit that sometimes I rush with the sniper rifle. Nothin more fun than unscoped kills with an M21 or Barrett vs someone with a shotgun or an SMG. I've even got a few unscoped headshots to my name

But yeah, creeping up on other snipers or whatever with your sniper kit, and lining up a headshot is hilarious.

I never understood the "padding" mentality. I mean if we KNOW you just cheated the system to to get that reward, we aren't going to be impressed at all by the end result. That, and you lose any real sense of satisfaction in EARNING the reward, since you cheated to get there.

Reminds me of the knife/pistol servers in BF2/2142 :P

I agree completely. Trying to get all of the golds is the only thing keeping me interested in CoD4 right now. I guess most of it is a competition that me and Minfootball always end up in to see who's better i guess, even if it is an unspoken competition. The fact that I earned it is part of why I love my golden uzi and M60 so much. I also love showing them off. Anyway, the reason I asked was so I didn't give up and resort to cheating. It is really tough to get headshots with the shotgun.

After I got all my golds I took a small break from CoD4 just because I'd been playing ALOT working on getting them.

Main thing with the shotties is aiming high. Also, alot of times if you're aiming at the upper torso you'll be rewarded with a headshot. I belive this is due to the "spread" of the shot since it's CoD4 doesn't have the option for buckshot or solid shot like say Rainbow6. Of course, if you have the right perk setup or lay in ambush you'll get rewarded with your headshots that way too.

Be patient...they'll come.
