As of 6pm EST he was online for about 2 hours.

The response I got from people online was that there was leniency extended to D.B. Cooper.

Following a quick conversation in game we had a few others test the waters thanks to that explaination- which by the way proves my indirect point on rules throughout this.

If you have any sort of tolerance when it comes to a code of conduct, it allows asshats to extend the borders.

Some of you may feel I am being a hard-***. Others feel uncomfortable and feel that I am picking on a 7 year old who may have learned his lesson.

Unfortunately, the reality is that we had several idiots take exception to our indifference in having him in game, that were also playing both days the original incident went down, and we had people calling Rand names, we had people dropping F bombs, and we had 2 occasions where someone used derogatory language that included same sexual orientation.

With that, and the kind of insults that our tag brought thanks to this tolerance, I say that I have proven my point well and have taken an appropriate stance on this issue.

My sincere apologies for discomfort in this situation, but I stand by my words and my actions.

Cain means after the time of his post.

The underlying idea is that D.B. Cooper won't be bothering the server again. But if you DO see him, that means he found a way around his ban, and needs to be taken care of again.

P.S. I didn't see or hear people on my side "test the waters" last night. If I had, they would have been warned, and if they continued, gone. Any leniency extended to Cooper was because of his age, not because of who he was. There are no special cases, and even leniency has its limits.

We're going to assume that nobody "testing the waters" had a CLR tag. In case anyone reading this has forgotten, once you take on that tag, you're held to a higher standard.

I'd like to add. I was on when hamster asked if an admin was on and rand spoke up. he pointed out that Cain is more lenient towards minors. later, in the same round. I heard DB/snake say over voice "hey, why doesn't this server have kick vote?"

Cain is more lenient towards minors. And this is as it should be. We give them a chance to learn how to behave and some do. Those that don't are gone. And on the opposite end Cain is extremely hard on his admins. I have seen a few admins removed because it went to their head.

I also followed that statement with something like "that's not to say they're not still expected to behave." He didn't get the message.
