Ok, my internet went down last night and was still down this morning, so I decided that I'd play Hardened single-player for a bit...
I was doing good... and when I got to the "Safehouse" map I ran into the first building you come across, not the church, the first little building across the street from the burned out one. (just so you dont get confused) When I went up into the rooms, I stumbled in on a bedroom with a mattress and a dresser which is across the hall from the upstairs bathroom. On that dresser was one of those HQ laptops, and when I walked to it, a message came up that said "press f to pick up enemy intelligence." I did, and another message came up "Enemy Intelligence: 1/30 picked up"

Has anyone else encountered this? Has anyone gotten all 30 laptops? Does anyone know what these laptops contain? A new map? Gold weapons? I am very intrigued.

IIRC these unlock sp perks (aka cheats), most of them i found worthless, but there were a few goodies as you get closer to all of them. some of these perks include infinite ammo, a black and white mode, slo-mo (gives you plenty of time to react to anything), cluster bombs (1 nade turns into 5 when thrown), and the last one i remember turns bad guys into tires when they die...... yeah..... i dont get it.....

They're for playing through the next time. Getting all 30 is pretty hard since you have to search for 'em usually. If you play single player like online yu'll never find 'em all. Single player is worth doing just for how the story unfolds.

I've never gotten all 30 intel's either.
It is just fun to play, so I never went Huntin for them.

I bumped up the difficulty, and went at it again.
Right now I'm stuck at the sniper part with the merry go round, etc...
i keep getting killed before that part completes.

Well, after using various "instructional" sites and Youtube vids, I have all 30 intels... the second one on that sniper part is definately the trickiest.

Nothing special pops up when you get them... and I have no reason to use the cheats.

Oh well, time to subscribe...

I found I think 27 of them. I love the tire and cluster grenade cheats, especially on the hardest difficulty. The tires helps a lot since I take a lot of pop shots at people so when they explode into tires I know they are dead and not just hiding away again. As for the cluster grenade, who doesnt want a grenade that explodes and drops 5 other grenades?

The slow motion one and the cluster bomb one are fun to play around with but other than that they're kinda useless heh
