Heh! I knew you'd be back! I'd much rather see you stay and play than I had see you leave. If nothing else, save up and purchase another copy and you'll be able to install it on two machines.

I have also heard instances where if you can provide proof of purchase, certain game makers will send or offer a download to the game install file. They aren't losing anything since you already have a key. They may even send you one if you pay shipping..which would be next to nothing. Might be something to consider.

Either way it's good to see your reconsideration of staying so I can blow you up. SEE... you can't do without it... having withdrawal symptoms already.

You really should try HQ... less people and an actual objective. Its usually got a bunch there around 6 or 7 PM.

Also, rather than breaking it you should've gone to Gamestop or whatever the store is where you trade in old games for credit towards another game or something... Thats what I do with my old ones.

Yeah, I'd drink, play, and get so pissed my blood pressure went through the roof.

I don't drink that often anymore. I used to get out here and play daily with a 12 pack, but I changed all that after my blood pressure gave me a nosebleed a couple times. I still might tie one on now and then, but not nearly as often as used to.

A little late in case you can't find a friend close with a copy, but I've had my share of
bad rounds too. Just WALK away for awhile.

Go play SP Crysis, or SP COD4, or make a toon on Cain's WOW server.
Heck, I've been know to go play 2142 or BF2 again.

And I DO have an account with the WOW crowd. So if all else fails, I'll go vent there.

As others have said, I can understand if you're sick of CoD4, but I hope to see you around the forums and perhaps make your way back for a later game.

If you get into WoW, Cain is running a WoW server. There's quite a few here who play, from what I can tell, though I'm not even sure how WoW works.

Awww, HELL he'll be back to cod4. I've done some stupid crap like that too. HALO for PC ....I destroyed it, lol, while I had my own server and everything. I quit playing when it gets to the point of anger....in fact I did just a few minutes ago. It sucks. Oh well.. KEEP IN MIND that the forums will be up and running fully which will include the instructions for downloading and installing World of Warcraft. Even if you don't like it you should give it a try. I think you'll be hooked like I was, and I didn't even like RPG games that much anymore either. It is definitely something worth giving a try.

I got royally bent last week and went throught the hour long fiasco of reinstalling 2142, patching and redownloading Northern Strike. Had to play a couple rounds offline to remember how everything worked but then there I was with pilum in hand trying to hold the Bridge at Remagen all by my onesies, again. Still doesn't work. Man, now it seems so weird to have to switch to frags instead of just tapping the g key. Not to mention reloading seems to take FOREVER!

In seriousness,it was a sad day when the BF2 server went down. I thought that would end my stint on these forums, but something keeps calling me back here 5 times a day. What I am saying is, nobody can play the same game consistently forever, but I hope you stick around and see what the next game Cain hosts will be.

I guess we have all gone through this. Yesterday every time I spawned Mike killed me. It was such a sad event but he had a great score. When it gets that bad just walk away for a while and play something else. There are days I swear my guns are loaded with blanks and I have a big target on my back side with a beacon to attract every nade on the map. Then I get killed because someone spawned in front of me and crouched instead of moving so I am stuck, they line up like lambs to the slaughter house in doorways or right behind you so you can't move and so many other things. When that happens I swear if I could kill my team mates I would.

Me too, I'd like to kill a few teammates yesterday for intentionally blocking doors.. facing inwards looking at us trying to get out.

Well I got it reinstalled.....but I have a squad match this weekend with my flight sim buds. We won it all last year so now the pressure is on to defend our title.

I'll try and make it in sometime this weekend.....but I'll try to sneak in.

I have plastic modular box with a snap lid where all my App and Gaming discs and manuals with cases go and I slide it in the closet...you never know when u get the itch to go back to an old game of yours...like an hour ago I noticed Ruthlesskilla was in COD2 on Xfire and made me ponder to reinstall and join him
