I don't get it. I have to pay for extra maps? I guess that's my naivety for online gaming. How exactly does that work? Say Cain adds a new map to the server, but I haven't purchased it... do I just not get to play? I must sound like an idiot, but I'm confused about this.

As far as I know, you will be disconnected from the server when it changes to the maps you dont have.

unless those maps are modded in a slight way, and then put up on custom map servers. It only takes one change (removing 1 object or moving it slightly) to make the map a custom map.
