Suggestion: Lower the number of players

It's coming to a point where there's just too many for the server. I suggest to perhaps lowering to no more than 30 (at the very most if even).

Just the conditions to play aren't favorable. Very crowded and distracting.

Guess I prefer more tactical than arcady nade spamming. This game is almost like Counter strike.

I liked the 360. But I havent tried PC. But I really didnt mind the amount of players, I thought it was fine. It was still hectic enough.

I'm one of the biggest proponents for strategy, tactics, and shear choice in tackling a problem in my shooters you'll find, but I still find COD 4 just flat out fun with the current settings. The maps have just enough variety in them not to be too boring, and the game speed is just about right for this type of game.

I'll admit that every now and then the nade spam is visibly worse than most other times (which is actually an interesting phenomenon when you think about it--why is it worse 2 rounds a night than the other 20?), and I miss vehicles (A Lot), but it's a great game for what it is, and I'm glad I bought it based on it being played here. I was not going to buy it based off COD and COD 2 single-player. Speaking of which, the SP campaign in this game is light years beyond the rest of the series.

I still wish UT3 had taken off, but this will do as an interim game until the Next Big Thing hits the interwebs.

Well, actually, I've been playing the lesser populated servers, like 16/16 or 20/20..no offense to this server, but I found them to be more tolerable. There are no distractions.

I play on the server for FUN if i want tactical i go on a different server. Simple.

Only reason I've been playing other servers lately is for my Operations Challenges. I only had TDM challenges completed, so I went to play Sabotage, S&D, Hardcore, and FFA. I've got FFA done, and I think HC except MVP, so a few more rounds of Sabo and S&D and I'm done. They're fun, but I always balance out my playing in there with at least a few rounds in Cain's Lair

On point of how many people are in the server, I can't say one way or the other. Some nights I really like playing with just a few people on each team, and having a really good fight (like playing against {CLR}Bushman, who I love, because we have such a good time sniping each other. He really brings my sniping game to a new level, cuz if I'm not "on", he'll keep getting me.). Other nights, I enjoy having a full chaos going, especially when the other team "stacks up" and I can throw a nade into 4 or 5 of them

Yep, as long as I have been playing on CLR servers, the boss man has been all about getting the max amount of people in a server for the most mayhem possible.

I found Cain by sorting the UT:2004 Onslaught server and going with the highest player count and best ping.
