winter is winding down, temps are starting to rise. a few days ago i decided to fire up the ole speedfan, as my pc has been running sub par at just about everything. as the numbers loaded, i just about fainted as i saw a whopping 70c (idle!) readout for my poor proc. life has been a little hectic lately, and i've neglected dusting out my comps for a few months.

most of these games are pretty demanding on even the most cutting edge hardware. if you've been busy too, try to take a few minutes to clean out your comps guts, and maybe replace some crusty old TIM. i know the last thing i need to deal with right now is deep fried puter parts, i'm sure you've got more important things to worry about too....

Hey guys one thing that may help is that if run RivaTuner you can post a whole bunch of information on your screen in game as well as on the LCD of your G15 keyboard. If you look in this screen shot you can see what it looks like in game. Temps and fan speeds for the GPU and CPU.

Does Rivatuner automatically install for the G15? I don't seem to remember that the last time I had the program installed looking at things.

Here is a guide that I was able to dig up. I think it does when you enable the on screen display (OSD).
