    Problem.

Ok heres the deal. I reformated my computer to get some of the useless crap off. So in the process of reinstalling cod4, my puppy pulled the power outlet out of the computer. The download was half way finished when this happened. Now whenever I try to play cod4 it gives me an error saying I need to reinstall. So im thinking sure not a problem, but when I try to uninstall it gives me another error, so now im clueless. I tried restarting my computer, deleting the activision folder in my program files, and just about anything you can think of. Does anyone have any tips for me?

    P.S. - I just got everything reinstalled that i lost(other than cod4), I really don't want to reformat again

I don't recommend this if you don't know wtf your doing, but you could try searching the registry and delete what you find that relates to cod4.

Always set a restore point after you reformat and get the OS all set to install your other stuff.. heh

You can try restoring I guess if you have a point to restore back to if you set one up.. not sure if it automatically gives you a restore point when you fresh install.
