Invalid memory image (79012)?

This happened when I was specing. Also happens rarely when I'm playing too. Just started happening maybe a week ago.

do you have up to date video drivers? I would start there.

Yea.. I'm using up to date drivers 169.21 via Nivida for my 8600GT XXX. It has something to do with punkbuster I think because it didn't happen before.. and the only thing that can change how it worked before is punkbuster.. the game doesn't patch itself heh.

I left them a ticket asking what is this kick for with the reason for the kick, and number.

I've been playing in 1024x768 because I can raise my dell E772c monitor to 75Hz. Which gives me maybe 10FPS over the max for this monitor. Also with /cg_fov 80 you also gain about 5-10FPS. I think the game itself has a MAX FPS of like 90-91. Which I never go over because it seems like its capped. Perhaps my computer is performing to good, and PB doesn't like that? lol.

This kick happens pretty rarely though.. but It seems like its getting alot more common for some reason on me. Might have something to do with smoke nades. Might also be due to playing when your computer was in standby for 10 hours and not shut off to clear the memory completely. OR my Avast! Antivirus + ZoneAlarm. I think that last PB update was pretty recent too, like maybe 3-4 days ago for cod4.

I got this error when I was in my own created mp server by myself it didn't kick me though, it said something about my d3d9 or w/e. Pertaining to my DirectX 9 I believe. I Just updated that too. so no idea.

hmmp.. its gotta have somthing to do with me playing in 1024x768 and 75hertz.

This is my max res btw for this monitor. at 60hertz so its not my settings.. I'm gunna try a reinstall I guess..

Seems to be fine now.. after reinstalling the game.. hopefully.
