I was playing at my younger cousins house yesterday, their internet was down so we were just playing the campaign.
On the third or fourth level, where you have nikolai with you and you are creeping around in fields and all the enemies have flashlights, and there are helicopters with spotlights searching around, I decided to try and take out a chopper.
I cooked a frag, tossed it towards the chopper, it blew up right next to the rotor blade, the helicopter spun around a little bit and I actually thought it worked when it had begun to spin.
But no, you cant blow them up like that, even thought that probably would have severely damaged the rotary blades.
It was really awesome though, it was a direct freaking hit on a chopper with a cooked frag.
