...some maps aren't in rotation? I enjoy Downpour and Showdown. The map rotation is of only about four or five maps, I think. Just wondering.

Cain runs only the maps that don't cause strange issues and that keep people on the server. He monitors what maps make people leave and cause less players to be on as well as server crashes and such to keep the server running at maximum uptime and with the most people on as possible at all times.

I love downpour too and I wish there was a way possible to add EVERY map, but only have certain maps to come up once every 5 cycles or so.

For instance, if you have FIVE maps in rotation, including Downpour, and config the rotation where Downpour comes up every Fifteenth round... that would be somewhat of a resolution to most people's craving.

Not a rant! Just a thought.

WHAT ???? Shipment on a 50 player server no fun ?? C'MON, MAN !! Just toss it in there once every 5 rotations (like Mike mentioned, love that idea) and sit back and enjoy the carnage.

It's not just americans who play on the server Basically everywhere else it's downpour same with ambush/convoy

Yeah i love downpour + showdown but i love it better when there's no whining (i used to whine bout downpour, now i love it lol)

Downpour is hawt.. District is annoying. Just my opinion..

After alittle research I've found that there is alittle more lag / fps loss due to weather / smoke effects like on bog, and downpour.. but there still pretty good maps. The FPS loss is only like 3-5fps. You'd get about the same fps loss on maps that don't have weather effects with just spaming smoke nades.

Luckily, I don't lag at all, so that's not an issue.
I'm comfortable dying on ANY map.

Some maps though are just too congested to play at 48-50 players.
Some maps cause server problems.

We try to bring the best mix of a quality high speed server, and maps
that everyone generally enjoy playing.
