Ok, while I was taking a peaceful stroll around the HQ server for 30 minutes I came up with an idea that might bring more people.
I was wondering if Cain could put up a line in the TDM console that says something like "Check out our HQ server" or something to that effect.

Anyway... short of placing billboards in Backlot, thats the best idea I've been able to come up with for bringing people in to the HQ.

What would REALLY be neat is if they could create a script that would scroll every 2-5 minutes and it would show the amount of players in the HQ server. That would help a lot with keeping people aware of the server's presence as well as its population.

I agree...and considering our TDM server always has ppl waiting for a slot, I think we could keep both servers populated

I doubt it will really lower the player counts for tdm since there is always people trying to get in and cant.

PBBhub seems to post welcome messages now, maybe it could also advertise the HQ server somehow?

As an aside, the welcome message spells Cain's Lair wrong (Cain\'s Lair)...

+1. And it should also be noted that the assumption that people are always trying to get in but can't isn't really the case anymore. The server is rarely full up, and I know that when I try to join, I almost never have to try a second time any more. This is at the same times as in the past, which means that there aren't as many people trying to play the game as just a couple of months ago--and the player count is down 2 from what it was then.
