I'm Leaving COD4, Possibly Forever.

I've decided, to leave COD4 until I can get XP on my computer or, until my game stops freezing completely every five minutes I play the game causing me to have to restart my computer. And since my dad is going to try and see if he can fix my drivers this weekend, most likely I will be coming back this weekend, but..if he doesn't fix it, I'll be gone, forever. The reason you always see me leave with no goodbye only to see me come back later is because, as mentioned above, am required to restart my computer.

Yeah, my dad has an old copy of XP in his cache of CDs. I will hang around the forums, and if I can not get COD4 fixed I will get the next big game that CainsLair supports, and I will hang around the forums.

I just had a problem with CoD4 crashing/freezing my comp. Type up the problem and your specs in the comp section and lets see if we can't figure it out.

what are you running Now? Vista???

I run Xp myself, but have Vista if the next great game is Vista only.
(Emulators are out there, but might bog you down some)

open task manager and stretch it so that every task is viewable and lemme see what we got going on. Take a screenshot of it and post.

What Peripherals are you using that are USB? (and don't forget to bring a towel.)
